Bamboo Shoot

While we were on a summer holiday trip , we took this photo in a garden with bamboo bush.

The bamboo shoot struggling out from the ground captured our attention. We took more photo of the bamboo shoot than the bamboo bush itself.

Bamboo shoot is really an amazing thing. It can grow 30 to 50cm within a day. This is because bamboo shoot is soft and always end up as food for some of the preying animal. It has to grow as fast as it can to turn into adult bamboo which will be too hard to be eaten.

This wonderful bamboo shoot remind us of Hope, Growth and the importance of Pushing one self to excel.
